This charming house had been extended multiple times over the years, resulting in an unfinished rear facade. Our clients wanted to restore & renovate this property to become their forever family home, while preserving its original charm. We collaborated with Crucis Designs Engineering firm from the outset to determine how much of the current structure could be retained. This process also offered our clients an early understanding of the design’s structural intricacies. This application was bought into committee by local councillor who was concerned about the scale of development to a well preserved street, but the design and research was hard for them to argue against and it was unanimously approved. This project is due to start on site in 2026.
