At Dawlish Drive our client wished to propose a single storey rear extension that would act as an infill to their existing rear extension. The client wanted to create an open plan living and kitchen space, with a new bathroom and utility room within the existing house. With a manhole inches away from the existing extension, we worked with the client to create a large concrete oriel window. This allowed the client to extend over the manhole without covering it and creating issues with Anglian Water, while also giving the project a unique look.
