Lord Roberts
At Lord Roberts Avenue the client requested an internal rearrangement to the property. The kitchen and dining room wall were knocked through to create an open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge L shaped area. The external side door was blocked off which allowed for extra space incorporating an enlargement to the WC. The old outdoor toilet was incorporated into a new inside utility space with a new internal door reducing the sound levels, this housed the stacked washing machine and drier.
The kitchen had a stand-alone island installed creating the divide between the dining area and kitchen. The living rooms fireplace was renewed and finished with Victorian style tiles.
To finish, Crittall style doors were chosen for the bay windows and doors. The windows on the bay were dropped to the floor creating floor to ceiling glass. The finishes transformed the space bringing in much more light allowing the outside in!
